...the Church grows, people are served and we live life as God intended when we appreciate and learn to practice the Shepherd heart of our Father God. As a demonstration of our dependence on God and our understanding of His ways, we believe that God puts His children within the caring community of the Church for good reasons. We believe that the biblical exhortations to ‘one another’ ministries are designed by God to bring the support, encouragement and resources we need to live life in a way that glorifies Him. We are committed to a biblical model of pastoral care where the whole body ministers according to their gifting to the needs of others. We are committed to showing the compassionate love and care of Jesus in an unconditional manner in the communities within which He has placed us and to especially care for those who are vulnerable or marginalised within our society. Bible references: Psalm 23:1. Isaiah 40:1. Jeremiah 3:15. Matthew 9:36. John10:11. Acts 20:28. 1 Peter 5:2If you would like to have contact with our Pastoral Care Team, please email pastoral@calderwoodbaptist.co.uk and one of the Pastoral Care coordinators or John MacKinnon will get back to you.
