A Community of Grace |
“for it is by
grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not of
yourselves, it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8 |

We believe in the universal church, the living spiritual
body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons
are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a
company of believers in Jesus Christ and we acknowledge that
this wonderful privilege to be part of the body of Christ is
a free gift of God’s grace, none of us are here on merit and
none of us is more significant than the other. For this
reason we seek to live in harmony with one another governed
by the Grace of God. We seek to be ambassadors of abundant
grace. In our efforts to live lives as a Holy people set
apart for the glory of God we will make grace a governing
value in our relationships with one another and in our open
handed magnanimous generosity to those we come into contact
with. |

by Prayer |

We believe
prayer to be the lifeblood of the Church and we can only be
in the centre of God’s will and accomplish His good and
perfect plan for our life together in as much as we are
listening for His voice and being obedient to what he says,
anointed and empowered for the task at hand.

Rooted in the Word
of God |
“all scripture is God breathed and is useful
for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in
righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16 |

We believe that the Bible
is the word of God, fully inspired and without error,
written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it
has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
For this reason we seek to teach the word in a systematic
way to enable believers to build their lives upon the solid
foundation of God’s word and to grow in their knowledge of
God. |

Empowered by the
Holy Spirit |
“you will
receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you’ and you
will be my witnesses.” Acts 1:8 |

We believe in the Holy
Spirit who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict
the world of sin, righteousness and judgement and to
regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus
Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every
believer in Christ and that he is an abiding helper, teacher
and guide. |

Making Christ Known

As the
Spirit empowers us to be his witnesses so we are obedient to
the call and commission of God to make disciples of all
nations by making Him known at any and every opportunity. |
