Gather & Grow
Please note, that the details below have been our usual operations. However, throughout January we will not be gathering in person, but will be broadcasting live every Sunday in January at 10:30am. You can access this on our Facebook Page or on our Website.
When & Where?
We current meet together on Sunday's, at 9:30am & 11:15am, gathering in the main church hall. On Wednesday evenings, we also gather at 8pm to study the New City Catechism. At the moment with a limit to number of people and distance, we need to use a booking system (see below). We are easy to find, on the main road (Maxwellton Road) in Calderwood, East Kilbride. If you want to join us, just get in touch and we'll let you know how best to go about that. We also gather on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm for prayer.
Our services are available to watch live online as well, on our Facebook Page or on our Website at: Live & NCC
How?
If you would like to join us in person, you can book a place here. To book, you must enter your name and a valid email address, and if you are bringing anyone else with you (including children) there is an option to 'add person' before you complete your booking. Please remember to do this so that you are guaranteed a space for anyone you are bringing, and so that we know who is in your group.
What Should I Expect?
On Sundays, you will be welcomed at the front door and shown where to sit. When the service begins, you can expect prayer, music and a message given from a text in the Bible. There will also usually be somethings for children, both in the service and in a different room for their own programme.
On a Tuesday or Wednesday evening it is much the same, except without a children's programme and usually without music, as this is a study night. These nights are usually more interactive, although there is never any expectation or pressure for individuals to have to interact.
Is there a Dress Code?
We have no formal dress code, so please dress as you normally would as though for a regular family gathering. Some people like to dress more formally on days like Remembrance, or more festive at Christmas, but most weeks the dress code just reflects the town on a regular day.
Will I have to Join In?
Not necessarily. You are welcome to participate or simply observe as you please. At the moment, we ask that any who attend comply with nationwide measure, one of which is that there is no congregational singing or communion (things that people would normally participate in). But again, if you are visiting, there is no expectation for you to be doing anything in particular and we hope that you feel welcomed.

Sundays are unique...
On Sundays the whole church gathers. All kinds of people from all kinds of places with all kinds of backgrounds. Cross-generational, cross-cultural, the whole range of people come together as one local family of faith, all to serve one another, to encourage one another, to love one another, and give glory to God together through serving, singing, preaching and praying. It was on Sundays the church began to meet because it was on Sunday that Jesus rose from the dead. Though we meet on different days in different ways, Sunday is when we gather together, reflecting that we are already gathered together in Christ... And all are welcome to join us.
